Questions and Answers.

I hope any information you need is covered here, but if not please ring or email me.

Why choose Walk This way?

Walk This Way is an individual based pet service, you tell us your needs and we then meet them, not the other way round. When I was looking for some one to help with my Standard Schnauzer Gracey, I was told the service offered and Gracey's and my needs were not taken into account.

How will you get in my home?

At the consultation this will be discussed. Walk This Way will need to be provided with a key to gain entry. This will be kept in a secure place that will not identify your pet or your address.

*Please not that Walk This Way signs will be removed from the car prior to our visit so this does not highlight your absence.*

How many dogs will you walk?

The maximum number of dogs walked at one time will be 3 , this is to ensure that I am in control and not the dogs. It also means that interaction can happen with the dogs. All 3 dogs have to be happy walking together. Individual dog walks are available, again this will be discussed at the initial consultation.

Please note Walk This Way will not walk agressive dogs. If you feel your dog can be a hand full to walk, I will tell honestly tell you if I can not help you.

Who supplies Food and fresh bedding for my pets?

At the initial consultation, we will discuss your pets requirements. You will be asked to ensure adaquate food and bedding is left for the period you are away, if for any reason this runs out, Walk This Way will provide for your pet but a surcharge will be added.

What if I want more then 2 visits per day for my pets?

This will be discussed at the initail consultation, Walk this Way works with their clients and their requirements.

What if my pet has medication?

Walk This Way is happy administering your pet's medication providing full instructions are left from your Vet and a consent form is signed.

What happens in an emergency?

At the initial consultation your details will be recorded which includes your vet's details.  Your pet will be taken to your vet after contacting yourselves to discuss action to be taken.
